I am sleep-deprived, surrounded by a huge mess (which I have now decided to REFUSE TO CLEAN for Valerie and Matt and I told them if it is a mess when family comes, it is a mess, I am on strike), and still have so much to do before I am done for the semester. Therefore, I am being a brat. I am sorry. I like clean dishes too and I hate softened water, it has like 2002 additives to it.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15260117428119041785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1113767935196076705.post-69271453398604681702009-03-29T11:07:00.000-06:002009-03-29T11:07:00.000-06:00I liked the part where the lake protection guy sai...I liked the part where the lake protection guy said to just go buy a water softener. Sure thing buddy, I'm going to go buy a water softener, then buy salt for it and continue to buy the overpriced soap that doesn't work as good as the cheap stuff. Maybe you should try to get in on the stimulus plan...as long as we are giving away free fake money....Free water softeners, salt and a 20% discount on your electric bill for all spokanders out there.
JasonJason and Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05815949433202011419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1113767935196076705.post-83454295045532522652009-03-27T17:41:00.000-06:002009-03-27T17:41:00.000-06:00It is because most dishwashing detergents leave su...It is because most dishwashing detergents leave such toxic residue on dishes. At Target you can get Method natural detergent that works pretty well. It is expensive though.
That is why we do a lot of hand-washing at our house ;-) Told you I was granola... if you want toxins, have fun (just teasing, seriously!!) we use our dishwasher sometimes... but definitely not for baby stuff.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15260117428119041785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1113767935196076705.post-56156528130797557472009-03-27T17:04:00.000-06:002009-03-27T17:04:00.000-06:00Come to Idaho, just as the Spokanians do. I remember when this law went in to effect this summer, I couldn't find any dishwashing detergent anywhere. Not only does it not get dishes clean, it is also way more expensive (imagine that). I can't believe they are trying to pass a federal ban (well, I CAN actually believe that), gimmie a break!!!rebeccaVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16870068611053451930noreply@blogger.com
